The Editors are pleased to introduce a new series presenting research in the fields of Humanities and Social Sciences.Communication and Argumentation in the Public Sphere welcomes paperson aspects of linguistics, philosophical, and socio-linguistic rersearch. Every article is refeered by at least two anonymous referees, after witch the editors make the final decision of publication.
Taking into account the large interest manifested by Romanian colleagues with respect to research on public sphere issues, the editors have decided to include also articles in Romanian in the 2007 issues, thus allowing an exception to the general language rule of the publication. The first three issues also include a number of articles not originally presented in the conference, whose autors could not take part in the event but submitted their scientific contributions later, when work on the manuscript of the was in progress. The editors’ introductory note and the table of contents are common to the three issues of the 2007 volume of the series, as are the abstracts in English, and in French or Romanian.
